Get Into Weights

Resistance training has many benefits for both men and women. Weight training is not only about bulking up.

If your goal is to lose body fat, then resistance training is an important element for you too. When training with weights, your body will burn more calories overall, even when you’re not exercising.

When weight training, technique should be the priority. If you are new to training with weights, have an instructor show you the correct technique’s.

Women, don’t worry that weights will bulk you up. When weights are done with higher repetitions, this will actually make the body smaller, firmer and stronger, and will compliment cardiovascular training.

Ladies weight training will not make you look like a man!
