There Are No Shortcuts

Don’t look for shortcuts, because they don’t exist!

Fad diets or miracle infomercial machines are gimmicks. Claims of dramatic results in short periods of time should be viewed with scepticism.

When losing weight, a loss of 0.5kg to 1kg per week is healthy and sustainable. Fast, dramatic weight loss is not healthy, and will often result in long term weight gain.

Don’t look at your training as something short term that you will do until you are ‘in shape’.

Successful training is long term, with permanent lifestyle choices. Training with a short term attitude is destined to fail.

Achieving results from exercise is the same as achieving goals in any area of life.

Through working hard, patience and not looking for shortcuts!
