Train For An Event

Training for an event is a great way to get in shape, and to have a goal to aim for. Sydney has a great choice of events to train for, ranging from the worlds biggest fun run the City 2 Surf, to corporate events like the BRW Corporate Triathlon.

To complete one of these events you don’t need to be an athlete. Many different people of varying abilities compete in these events every year.

Having a goal to work towards will give your training more purpose and help motivate you!

Here are some of Sydney’s great annual events you can train for –

  • City 2 Surf (14km run / August)
  • Sydney Running Festival (9km / 21km Half Marathon / 42km Marathon / September)
  • BRW Corporate Triathlon (400m swim, 8km bike, 4km run / April)
  • Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon (21km / May)
  • Rebel Sport Run 4 Fun (10km / November)
  • Sydney10 (10km / June)
